Everything your books need, run by one accountant
Bookkeeping, VAT, payroll and year-end for sole traders and small limited companies anywhere in Finland, in English and Hindi.
I am Karma Accounts, a Helsinki accounting firm working online. You send the receipts and the bank statement; I keep the books current, file what the Tax Administration expects on the day it is due, and tell you in plain language where your business stands. Nothing is outsourced and nobody hands you to an account manager: the person who does your books is the person who answers your email.
What I do
Most clients take the whole list. You can also take one part of it, for example payroll only.

How a month runs
The routine is the same every month, which is what makes deadlines boring instead of stressful.
- You send what arrives Receipts by phone as you get them, sales invoices, and access to the bank statement. No collecting a year in a shoebox.
- I keep the books current Bookkeeping during the month, not on the deadline, with questions asked while you still remember the answer.
- I file, and tell you the number VAT, payroll reports and the year-end filings go in on time, and you know what to pay before it is due.
Who I work with
Sole traders (toiminimi) invoicing their own work, delivery and courier drivers, restaurants and small shops, consultants and one-person limited companies, and founders who moved to Finland and have to run a business in a language they are still learning. If you are somewhere between a hobby and a business and are not sure which, that is a normal conversation to have with me.
Languages, and where I work
I work in English and Hindi with you, and in Finnish with the authorities: the filings go into MyTax (OmaVero) and the Incomes Register the way they must, and you get the explanation in a language you actually think in. The firm is in Helsinki and works online, so where you are in Finland makes no difference to how we work together. More about working with an English-speaking accountant.
What I do not do
I do not audit, I am not a lawyer, and I do not give investment advice. I do not take payments on your behalf or move money from your accounts: you approve and pay, I prepare and tell you what is due and when.
Start with a conversation, not a contract
Tell me what your business does and how the receipts arrive today. A free introduction is usually half an hour, and if bringing one month of receipts is easier than explaining, bring those.
